Shaarei Shamayim

Religious School: Shaarei Shamayim has a wonderful and intimate Religious School with a great deal of personal attention given to each child (grades 2-7). The children learn Torah and Bible, about Shabbos, holidays, customs and ceremonies and how to daven and sing the prayers of the Siddur. Regarding Hebrew language skills, each child learns at his/her own pace. All this is skillfully taught by Ms. Dahlia Travis, assisted by teacher’s aides, with prayer taught by Rabbi Mark Kunis. The Religious School meets every Sunday from 9:00am until 12:30pm.

Shabbat for Tots and Preschoolers:   On Shabbos morning, drop off your tots and preschoolers—ages 2 to 6—and enjoy the service in the main sanctuary while knowing that your kids will be learning the Torah portion and holidays with song and stories and Shabbat crafts—all lovingly presented by Ms. Malki Krombach, assisted by Sophie Murad.
